Pet Food Pantries
If you are struggling to buy pet food for your dog, you may be able to get assistance in your area. Tough times can be temporary and with some assistance, a GSD owner can often find a way to keep their GSD in their home. Pet Food Pantries can provide that assistance.
We’ve put together a list of some food Pet Food Pantries operating throughout New England. If you plan to visit one, we strongly recommend you go to the pantry website or call the pantry before your go to find out their requirements and to make sure they have enough food in stock.
If none of the pantries on this list is close to where you live, try contacting your local Animal Shelter. They may have food that was donated to them that they aren’t using. Another option is to try your local human Food Pantry. They may get pet food donated on occasion, and if they know the need is out there, they may start soliciting for pet food donations.
If you know of a pantry not on our list, please let us know and we will gladly add it.
If you are fortunate not to need assistance, consider donating some pet food to a pantry in the name of your GSD. If you need help locating one, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help you find a needy pantry.
